I've just bought an x type 2002 which only has a tape deck , I want to put a cd auto changer in it but I've searched the boot where it goes and don't seem to have the plugs of the wiring loom for it , can you get a loom for it or is it best to just get CD player for the dash ??

Hi Stefan,

Welcome to the club :)

I think the loom may well be there but buried. Did you pull the nearside boot trim panel out? Was there a sliver coloured metal panel bolted to the inside of the boot behind the trim?

I pulled the trim out , no silver panel only bunch of wires spare says on the white label telephone, no other wires in sight

Did ahy of the connections you found look like any of these black and white connectors?
