I’m a Jaguar S type owner in Pembrokeshire.  Recently have had problems with 18”Monaco BBS
alloy wheels.  Basically the coating breaking down.  Plan to get wheels blasted and re-powder coated.  Had to strip out the SS trims.  Can anyone confirm that there is no danger running on the re-serviced-rebuilt Monaco rims, without the trims replaced ?  Or can someone provide sensible SS trim supplier’s information ?  The only ones I have found are all either only on mobile telephone numbers or are only on eBay only, (and would appear to "want the earth" for replacements).  I believe the Part # is: BBSTRIMRING-18.

Thanks in advance, any advice would help.

I detested my BBS wheels and changed them not long after buying my car. I also downsized from 20" to 18" to achieve a softer ride. I changed them to a Coventry Hortnet wheel which they claim is designet for a Jaguar.
