Hi I've just got a x type on a 55 plate first time tonight driving in the dark the head lamps are very dim no bulbs out is they anything I can do to solve the problem many thanks . Nigel

I think that the headlamps might need cleaning.  Halford do stock a headlamp cleaning kit.

nigel, your car is now 10years old. old yellow bulbs ect you have to update to see and to be seen on the roads. get your self down to the local Halfords get the new ultra bright bulbs. the guys down their will help and fit them for you

Thanks for your reply found out why today the head light adjuster are broken the the so the inside of the head lamp moves and is pointing directly in front of the car so new head lamp order but I will take your advice on the bulbs thanks
