Use premium fuel.

 

Short answer, but a performance engine needs the good stuff.

 

I like whiskey [and whisky] --  but only single malt and triple distilled.

No modifications to any part of engine? Never had v6 before.

These engine are at about there peek. You could put a KN air filter kit and bigger exhaust but you would only gain 5 to 10 BHP if that.

The piping from the engine to the exhaust is the bottleneck.
