Torque converter

Featured Replies

Hi guys & girls just joined up and wanted to say hi, also have a question for you all. I have a s type 2.7d on a 06 plate and it appears the torque converter is on its way out, now my question is does it have to be one from a exact model/engine or would one fit from a petrol auto? Many thanks.

Hi Simon, and welcome to the club.

I think that you could look up the item on a Parts Catalogue [try the David Manners Group], and I think it will show the model that it fits.

I think both the gearboxes are ZF 6 speed boxes and there cannot be much difference, I guess.

Regards,

Peter.
