Performance Brakes

Featured Replies

A couple of weeks ago I bought a 10 year old x type jag (I'm pretty happy with it). I want to take the car down the race track and one thing I want to upgrade before that is the brakes.

Do any of you know any decent and affordable brake sets (brake discs, pads etc.).

HI Alex, and welcome to the club.

You could try the websites of the David Manners Group, who have a great online catalogue, or SNG Barrett.

At worst they will give you an idea of the prices.

Regards,

Peter.

Hi Alex, you can upgrade the brakes quite reasonably with EBC Brakes. They offer a good range of Discs, vented, slotted, grooved etc along with callipers and pads.

I am doing the Top Gear Test Track in 2 weeks time. I also like the track days
