Afternoon all, as some of you may be aware just had servo and vacuum pump renewed, no problems there, take it out this morning, all ok until I heavy foot it to overtake some numpty combing his hair in the mirror, what do you know? restricted performance on kick down, also got the message on starting a few times, turn off, turn on again all is well. The car revs well up to its limits, so I am at a loss, can't see it being anything to do with the brakes, was thinking DPF, although it had a motorway run of 40 miles yesterday, could be something as simple as the air filter, just don't know, please don't let it be the Turbo. Any ideas guys

I think it might possibly have to do with the transmission Ian.

Does the transmission sometimes seem slow to change or slip?

Was the transmission cold?

Cheers for the suggestion Paul, on reflection I think it may be my fault, filled up yesterday at Costco, so it may just be as simple as cheap fuel, so after 400 or so miles hope all will be well. Premium fuel in future. PS if I leave it ticking over fault disappears after 5 mins or so, it may have been an injector, EGR, lambda or other sensors that just to a dislike to the fuel.
