I've had my new XF for a few months now, and I'm disappointed I didn't even get a space saver spare wheel with it. I'm not even going to ask the dealership how much they charge, so, can anyone tell me where I can get a reasonably priced spare wheel with a jack, etc

Thanks

Hi Iain, and welcome to the club.

My S Type has a spare wheel with a matching Alloy   --- the previous [first] owner specified one when he bought the car.

I do know that there are quite a few wheels that you can match with yours that you can find on the internet.  To pick out one myself I would need to know what wheels and tyres you have on your XF.

I am sure you will find one more reasonably priced than one from a main dealer.

Regards,

Peter.

I'll get the tyre size and picture of the wheel and post it. I did wonder if it had to be a specifc wheel that I needed or if the old XF wheels would fit too.

Thanks,

Iain

Hi Iain,

At a guess, if the old XF wheels are the same  size I would say they would fit.  A lot depends on whether you want a spare wheel to match the ones on the car.

I used to have a Rover Sterling that had  a spare wheel that was a plain steel one. It was only on my car for an afternoon once in over 11 years.

My tyres are 235/55 R17

I can't figure out how to add a picture of my wheels to the post. Is that even possible.
