Hi I've not really had a chance to look yet, but does anyone know how easy it is to remove stereo ? Want to upgrade head unit .

As you look at it there's two covers in the top corners and one at the bottom underneath the climate buttons.

With a hook gently pull them off and you'll see 10mm bolts, two at the bottom and one either side at the top.

Put your gear selector into the furthest away and put a towel over the wood, might be easier to remove your knob too.

Then pull all the unit, radio, tape box and climate unit out in one lump, disconnect all the plugs and lift away the whole lump.

To get the stereo out you have to dismantle various brackets but it's all self explanatory once you see it.

There isn't a face plate for the mk1 jag but I bodged a fiesta blank plate and used the bracket with a couple of holes drilled into it to fit my Sony media player.
