Hi Guys,

First off, thank you for those who give uo their time to run and contribute to the forum.

So here's my problem. 2000 S type 3.0. having parked up for 12 days at the airport, on my return, the heater will no longer blow warm air. Engine is getting up to temp (showing half on gauge). The temp display is adjustable in the normal way, ie together or individually, and adjustable in half a degree increments.

So is it likely to be a problem of water circulation through the heater, or something in the temperature selection mechanism. Anyone have experience of this problem,

Thanks in anticipation,

Paul

Hi and welcome.

It's likely the heater solenoid unit, can't think what its proper name is, someone will fill that bit in soon.

Not a bad job to replace but around £100 for the bit.

They are prone to sticking/failing.
