Anybody know how long it takes to change the drivers side EGR, just picked one up from jag dealer for what I thought was a very reasonable £193 Inc so just wanted to know how much to install. The cars been spoilt of recent times, New vacuum pump, New servo, New mintex discs and pads, was going to treat it to a waxoyl treatment till this latest fault raised its head. Surely nothing else can go wrong, or can it?

Hi Ian,

The driver's side EGR looks the easiest, and at a guess I think a good mechanic would not take longer than an hour  - maybe two.

If you have a good garage nearby, and mechanic could fit it.

But I don't do dirty hands any more!!

Regards

Peter.

Cheers Peter, just hope this is the last fault before Christmas, beer and whiskey to buy.
