Manual Conversion

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I am new here but already enjoying your posts! I was wondering if you can do a manual conversion on a 4.0 or 4.2 S type? I have a 3 ltr but want something more powerful, I understand that the V8 has the power but I don't like autos! Or maybe any way of adding more power to my 3ltr?

Waiting for your replies

Thanks

Erion

Welcome to the Club Erion.

There have been quite a few posts in the past about having the 3 litre engine remapped, and maybe someone who has had it done will tell you of any benefits gained.

Getting a car modified can have insurance and MOT issues, though.

Peter.

Hi,

If you find you have any issues with insurance at all for this type of conversion then please feel free to drop me a line. I'd be only too pleased to help out.

Regards,

Dan.
