Evening guys.

I'm looking to get a 2013/4 XF SportBrake S Portfolio. However, I'm very confused on what is standard and what are the extras, the sellers are offering.

Anyone know a place I can see what the 2013/4 Specs were please?

Thanks

Welcome to the club, Dave.

You will just need to google "Jaguar Specifications" and you will get the official Jaguar site.  Just follow the menu.

There are normally a lot of optional extras on Jaguar cars.  I checked mine out using the VIN number to get the specification as when it left the factory on the 13th March 2007, and found that the optional extras would have cost £11,094 when fitted at the factory.

So the important bit for you is to find a car with the optional specifications you want.

Regards,

Peter.

Dave - I still have the official brochure from when I bought mine. If you can get some contact details to me I can post it to you.

Hi Les. That's very kind. Maybe it would be easier for you to take some photos of the pages (with your phone) where the specs are mentioned, you could then email me the photos or something along those lines?

Thanks

Thanks very much Growler. Do you guys know the following -

1/ The blind spot detector, I assume that's standard on the Portfolio S model?

2/ Not sure if the lights are the adaptive type, but does this model have the cornering lights, which many cars now have?

A couple I've seen just FYI -

Hi Dave,

I have attached photos of the spec pages in this reply. Let me know if you have any issues reading them.

If you want the actual brochures let me know and I'll get them to you somehow.

Regards,

Les

I think you will have trouble finding one as most were the reserve of the 5.0 XFS-R model. In my opinion? The only worthwhile upgrades is Adaptive cruise & heated wheel

Hi, I am a newbie but in a similar situation to Dave. Is the S Portfolio simply the slight more powerful 3.0 or are there other spec differences? Thanks.

Hi Peter, and welcome to the club.

It is very difficult to determine differences between Jaguar specifications, as there are so many optional extras that can be specified by the first owner and factory fitted when being built.

My S Type SE is the top of the range, but having nothing to do I checked the price the optional extras cost and they came to £10,094.

A different engine will cost more, but the optional extras could make the cheaper [less expensive] model have a better spec.

But meanwhile, just enjoy your Jaguar.

 Peter

Hi guys,

As Peter has said there are many differences in spec. But no, it's not just the power.

the 3.0d XF has less power than the S. But it's the word 'portfolio' that's making a difference. This is the highest spec you can get and leaves only a couple of available options - such as ali pedal covers, black suede headlining, those kind of things.

I've got a 2014 (64) XFS Portfolio and I !Removed! love it.
