Just bought my very first Jaguar, x-type 2.0D SE manual on a 58 plate. Also own a brand new Audi A3 lease car for work!!

Last car was an Audi TT mk1 225bhp roadster, but as my annual mileage is about to increase due to my son starting uni, I needed a long distance comfortable and economic car!! Much research led me to this lovely car!!!

Welcome to the club, Murray.

The x type is a most underrated car and the 2.0 litre Diesel engine [Ford Duratorq] is a great workhorse. [My younger son has one - the estate version].

I hope you enjoy both the club and your Jaguar.

Regards,

Peter.
