Hi all newbie to x type

having just acquired my car the tyres are Joyride 225/45/17

never heard of them and finding the ride great but firm has anyone fitted 215/50/17 and do they soften the ride

looking at nexen n6000 sports as 'joyride' just doesn't fill me with any faith if and when bad weather hits .

Have gone down in size as the fitted size seems to be rubbing the arch on full lock.

any assistance or direction greatly appreciated .

regards

Dave.😊

cant say ive ever had that problem.  Ive always found budgets fine in the dry or wet as most budget tyres are the major companies disused tread patterns ie firestone are old bridgestone patterns

I agree but these are Chinese and not so sure about them but will see in coming months .

if they don't come up to standard will look at the nexen to replace and use larger size

thanks for the input

regards Dave 😊
