ABS Fault

Hello everyone. I have a strange thing happen when I start my S Type 2.7 Diesel.

The left hand message screen sometimes flashes ABS Fault when I start the car. It only says it momentarily and there are never any warning lights on the dash.

Then yesterday, I hit a pothole and the Restricted Performance message showed and the car wouldnt rev.

I stopped, sswitched the engine off and re started it amd no limited performance messages since but the abs one keeps appearing fleetingly and not every time I start the car.

Can anyone shed any light on this for me?
