Sat nav

Featured Replies

Good afternoon jag owners ,

In my search for a nise x type 2.0d in my budget I haven't come across 1 with the sat nav and disc changer , but seen them on e bay for sale , is this a plug and play affair or is it a nightmare of wiring etc , I have a Tom Tom just like the look of the big screen ,

Hi Richard,

I am no electrical expert, but I do believe that the wiring for both the SatNav and the CD Changer is there in the boot and if like the S Type, it will be on the left hand side. Of course, you will have to do quite a bit of work installing the touchscreen etc.

A member without the touchscreen used a small bracket and his mobile phone & Google Maps app as it was too much bother.

Regards,

Peter.
