Hi everyone. I just picked up my new S Type, only to discover the multichanger CD cassette in the glove box is missing! I wonder, does anyone know the part number and the best place to get the cassette...or can i plug a USB/AUX IN unit in instead? If i can, any idea of a part number etc etc? Cheers chaps. Tim

Hi Tim,

If your car has Bluetooth there is a widget on Amazon/eBay that will let you connect your 'phone or iPod.

You can also check out the David Manners Group website who have an online catalogue and a good online service.  I have used this company before and they are quite good.

Regards,

Peter.

Similarly, the Clarion boot changer in mine is missing the cassette to hold the 6 discs, as yet I've done nothing about it but I'm planning on fitting a double din DAB head unit with inputs for MP3, USB and iPhone etc. If yours is 2001 it's very unlikely you have the connectivity module for bluetooth and other bits, this is expensive to retrofit, more expensive than a new head unit etc. If you find out the make and model of your boot changer, you should be able to find a 2nd hand cassette or complete CDC from eBay or similar. Hope this helps .

Cheers. Yesh,.no bluetooth and the changer is in the glove box not the boot as i expected. I think there is something you can plug in in place of the changer but i'll keep looking.
