Security Sounder LJB 2620 AA

Featured Replies

Having traced various electrical malfunctions on the centre switch panel and the repeated blowing of fuse #3 in the engine compartment fuse box to the security sounder in the offside front wing, I removed the sounder.   The internal corrosion and the condition of the aged NiCad batteries make it clear that it will never work again.   I can find no new sounders available;  perhaps someone can give me a steer.  Or can anyone tell me of a unit, perhaps from a later car, which can be substituted?   The option is, of course, to leave the car, as now, with all the electrics working and the sounder plug sealed in plastic, but I would prefer to finish the job.  Thank you, All.  JohnC
