The x type is a nice car, and it is a fair trip back to North Wales.

I used to live in North Wales n the 1960's  when there was a steelworks at Shotton!

Hi Peter,

I worked at the steelworks when I was younger as did most of the area,it is still open just about.

These days the only employment is at Asda/Aldi/Lidl etc.

I worked in the Pay Office from 1962 till the end of 1970.  I had previously worked for John Summers in Widnes where they had a small works  - it would be a big works nowadays - where I was the  Pay and Cost Office Manager.

I am still in contact with Eddie Sargeant.

I started as a junior op in 1968,maybe it was you who stuck the fiver in my first pay packet lol..
