Hi everyone,

 

I'm John, from Glasgow. I have owned a 2005 Jaguar S-Type 2.7 in luscious metallic red with the tan leather interior for around a year now. I just had the car serviced and suddenly it goes like a rocket! I'm really looking forward to making the best out of this now. Apparently it was just a loose hose!

The 2.7 diesel is a very deceptive engine with tremendous acceleration when required.

I have had mine for just over three years and still amazed by it quietness as well as its performance.

Thanks Peter! I actually came down to the West Midlands to buy my car. It was being sold in Solihul, so a quick flight down to collect and drove it home. This car is fantastic now! I just wish I had found the independent specialist who serviced the car sooner!

I bought my car in Solihull just 18 miles away from Stratstone [now Listers].

I have my car serviced by a mobile mechanic who knows about cars and the sound of the engine tells him as much as the diagnostic tools!
