Afternoon folks - I'm new to the forum as am hoping to sign the deal on a 2011 XKR Convertible in Stratus Grey Metallic in the next few days.

She's been neglected a bit although mostly just cosmetic problems that my detailer can overcome however the chrome tail pipes may be beyond polishing.

I have asked if these can be replaced and they are just looking in to it.

Does anyone know if these can be replaced individually or if it's a case of changing the exhaust from the back box onwards? if so I may not bother.

I'm sure you guys will know!

Cheers

Jonathan

Hi Jonathan, and welcome to the club.

I think the tail pipes can be replaced.  I used to have a Rover Sterling and they could on that.  I have never need to replace them on Jaguars, though.

Try  a company called Adamesh.

In the meantime, enjoy your XKR and I hope the sun shines for you.

Regards,

Peter.

Thanks Peter - looking forward to being part of the forum.

I'll see how they polish up and then have a look at Adamesh!

Cheers
