Hi everyone just introducing myself as this is my first time on the owners club. I found the club because I have owned Jags for quite a few years BUT I have never had the problem that I am currently experiencing with my 2008 XJ Sovereign. Basically on occasions it struggles to start and seems to be getting worse. I thought that I might be having a glow plug issue as it is a diesel but am hearing that it isn't an uncommon fault and maybe caused by Parking Sensor or poor battery connections.

I really don't want to go down the glow plug route as seems hellish expensive having been quoted £550 to supply and fit, somewhat excessive to the equivalent to set of plugs on a petrol car.

Has anyone else had the same starting issues that has been sorted out?
