Interior trim colour codes

Featured Replies

The leather trim in my car has the code NED which I understand is ivory. I am trying to buy a dash part which is a much darker colour. The only other trim code on the door plate is HP but I can't find it anywhere and it would be useful to have a name.

Any clues on how to find out the name of the colour. 1999 3.0

Hi,

The colour code for the dash, steering wheel and door trims etc can normally be found on the rear of the steering wheel airbag. The attached image example is from a 2005MY S Type steering wheel airbag unit and shows AMB (Mocha) as the trim code.Air Bag 2.jpg

Thanks Budgie.

I think I have narrowed it down to Sable.
