Hi. Just joined so i can chat with like minded folk.

Been a Rover owner for past 15 years. Rover 75 con se which takes a bit of beating in the class.

Decided in my old age that I need a Jaguar experience. Just bought a lovely low mileage X type 2.2D Sovereign which looks to be one of the last ones made.

Not really got round to checking it all out but all seems good so far. Just found out it does not have a DPF which pleases me no end.

Thanks. Peter.

Hi Peter

There's a good few of us migrating from 75/ZTS on here.  Sold my ZT in August for an S-Type.  Wouldn't have moved to any other marque.

Hi Peter,

Me too, still got my 2.5 V6 Rover, but scratched the itch for an S type. Welcome by the way.

Welcome to the Club, Peter.

Like you, I had Rovers for a long time. After 3 Montegos I had two Series 4 Rovers and then a Rover Sterling 825 which I kept for 11 Years before buying my first Jaguar, a X Type 2.5 litre SE AWD  and then through circumstances I bought a  late model s type2.7D SE.

I hope you will enjoy the club as much as you will enjoy your Jaguar.

Regards,

Peter.
