I would like to fit Powerfold mirrors, but just wondered if they are all same. I have non Powerfold mirrors but they do have memory. 

My question is do I need Powerfold mirrors with memory or is memory standard on all the mirrors?

I'm not sure there if there standard, but

the mirror has 4 wires for the mirror movement motors, 4 wires for mirror movement motor memory, 2 wires for heated mirror, 2 wires for electrochromatic dimming and lastly 2 wires for power fold, that a total of 14 wires

so you see a lot advertised  saying 14 wires in the connector, so if it got 14 wires, its wired for all features, so its sure to work with every thing and you can upgrade to the power folds as well

you could ask paul, "Raistlin" , who does a lot of retro fitting on the s-type and also you could try Denis (The Jag Den) on this forum, who may have the parts to sell.

Thanks Joe that fully answered my question, I will make sure it has all 14 wires.

Just changed my driver's mirror which had power fold and memory and it had 14 wires.
