Problems with electric settings

Featured Replies

Hi guys!

I have a issue with my beloved Jag S-type. When I exit the vehicle, the steering wheel automaticly returns to the lowest position possible which makes it kind of hard to get out of the car. I have tried changing the settings according to my (german) manual, men nothing seems to work.

The memory setting for the seat works fine.

Any ideas?

Hi

It needs the park position reteaching, needs software plugging in to do it

If you leave the switch in auto, every time you get out, the steering wheel moves out of the way and when you get back in, put the ignition key in, it moves back to the memory position

best option is to leave the switch in column postion, then it wont move when you turn the ignition off

cheers

Joe
