Hi all. I would like to increase the power of the bulbs in the headlights. My man tells me this is not advisable because the headlight lens is plastic rather  than glass and the new bulbs (probably from Halfords or similar) would produce too much heat and tend to melt the lens from the inside. I am not sure he is correct but would like to know if any member has any experience with this issue. Someting for a lovely Sunday morning.

Halford do some upgraded bulbs that are the same wattage, but brighter, some so do make a good difference

might be worth check the alignment of your headlights as well as adjuster are prone to breaking and make the headlight droop too low, make visability very poor
