Warranties

Featured Replies

I'm a new XF S owner 2010 and at 96000 miles I'm thinking about warranties...does anyone have experience of any independent warranties?

Thanks

Hi

Just make sure you read all the information first

I got a 3 year warranty with my Jaguar S-type R when I bought it, which I thought was great

but with some there's certain things that need to be met, like on mine it needs to be serviced every year, which is good, but I do all my own work on the car, so that does not count

also usually things have to break, if it down to wear and tear, they wont fix it, also you have to do thingx to a set procedure with some companies, like if some thing breaks, you have to call a recovery vehicle out, then recovered to a garage, before they will pay out

Personally I dont think there worth it, but there must be good waranty's out there, maybe some one will have good experience and recommend one

cheers

Joe
