Hello all.

I have owned my XF 3.0D for a year now, and I have enjoyed the ownership experience so far.

Unfortunately my relationship has been tainted by the dreaded "Restricted Performance" issue.  It's currently with Lancaster Sevenoaks awaiting a new Turbo actuator valve and solenoid.  FIngers crossed it doesn't also need a turbo...

Anyway, looking forward to being part of the club

Regards

Nik

Welcome to the club, Nik.

Restricted performance is something I have never had [keeping fingers crossed] and I have never had any problems with the DPF.

Sharing experiences is very important for the club members  --  many an issue is solved from the experience of another person.

When my younger son was 18 and with his first car he could not get it to start. While he was in the pub wth his mates, I solved the problem.  With my  years of experience I gathered that cars needed fuel to go.  A few splashed of petrol from the lawnmower worked.  He was rather embarrassed!

Regards

Peter.

Hi Nik...welcome to the Club

Sorry to hear that the relationship has been tainted...although it will be more than likely redeemable when you get back into it with no performance restrictions.

Good to have you onboard

Cheers,  Trevor
