I'm not actually a new owner but my Girlfriend is and it'll be me looking at and altering etc the car so here I am

She picks up an ex managment XE 20D R-Sport AWD

First job is how to fit her Mini0806 dash cam. So my first post may well be suggestions for placement.

EDIT: Oh yeah buying from Perth and were based near Falkirk although GF works in Huddersfield.

Cheers for now

Des

Welcome to the club, Des [&GF]

On my s type I have the dash cam by the rear view mirror, hiding the lead bt just pushed it into the headlining and down the "A" pillar.

SWMBO has her dash cam on her Toyota Yaris at the bottom left of the windscreen.  Both work OK.

I hope GF enjoys the Jaguar  --   we make good cars in Brummagem.[& Coventry]

Regards,

Peter

Hi Des....welcome to the Forum

A good position is out of the line of the 'swept zone' (where the wipers go across the screen) as this is an MOT failure so top of the screen is usually a good place to locate it

Good to have you onboard

Cheers,   Trevor
