not yet a Jag owner but now seriously looking!

i am looking to buy an XK8 convertible, I must admit I have been put off in the past when I read about the rust issues bu have decided I want one anyway.

I’m sure with the help of this forum I will find a good one.

I got the S Type with the spec I wanted four and a half years ago by emailing a main dealer with dealerships across the country asking if they had the right model. Within a week I had a phone call from a dealership just 18 miles away telling me that they had one in  stock .  A week later it was on my drive. Worth trying.
