Hi all, just joined and just brought my second ever jag a 2010 xf portfolio edition my first was an X type which I loved.  Only had the XF a few days and yet to take it on a run.  How accurate is the average fuel counter?  As mine say around town 28 ish mpg.  Looking forward to checking in on this site over the next few months.

Hi Andrew, and welcome to the club.

The engine in your XF would help members to give you an idea of what the consumption should me.  My s type with the 2.7 diesel engine will return about 28 mpg around town, and well over 45 mpg on a long run.

Regards,

Peter.

Would have been a good idea to include engine size.its a 3.0 diesel...

I have a 2010 3.0 Diesel XF and recently returned 43 on a long run. Around town it drops to around 30 ish so you would be about right.
