I have a 56 plate X Type estate 2.2D and I am trying to find the fuse location for the cigarette lighter socket in the front of the car.  I've looked in the handbook that came with the car but it does not seem to relate to the fuse box within the car.  I removed the fuse stated in my manual but it was obviously for the indicators as they stopped working.

 

Does anybody have a copy of the fuse information or know the location/fuse number for the cigarette lighter socket ?

Inside the glove box, rear left hand side, there's a panel which just pulls off. Try fuse No 52 in the fuse-box at the rear of the glove box. It should be rated at 15 amps. Its the 4th fuse from the right in the top row of fuses.
