Featured Replies

hi I recently bought a 2008 xf luxury and the sat nav doesn't seem to be working, once you have agreed to using the sat nav the screen just says DVD check in process and stays like that,i have removed the DVD and inserted again and I have also bought the latest 2018 maps DVD off ebay and same happens with both, it accepts and ejects discs fine and when sticking my head in the boot can hear the unit working but just stays on DVD check in process anyone else had this problem or can give me any advice what to do would be appreciated!!!!

Welcome to the club, Barry.

Has it worked at all since you bought the car?  If not, I would suggest taking it back to the dealer from who you bought the car.

You could well need a specialist -- hopefully there could be a member with electrical skills.

Regards,

Peter.

Hi Barry,

Peters right as always but you could also look up Raistlin (Paul) in other posts on this site regarding SatNav and Sound Systems and PM him for some advice. He's a regular contributor and may reply to directly to this post.

Cheers and Good Luck,

Steve
