good morning. i've just joined the club, of the best car in the world! I have an s-type and have problem with key fob. have replaced battery but still wont open the door. have tried jag dealer and other firms who cant fix prob. I live between staines and slough, anybody got possible solution ? many thanks


Welcome to the club, Peter.

With regards to the Key Fob, I am surprised that a Jaguar Main dealer cannot solve the problem.

I would look for an Auto Electrician  ---   there are usually some good mobile auto electricians that you can find by googling.

thanks for welcome Peter. further to the key fob issue I found an excellent guy called Lee from timpsons at Sainsburys taplow, berks. he made me 2 keys , one with fob, he sorted the chips and reprogrammed the fobs and got it working. so if anyone else has problems with keys I can recommend him. contact Lee 01628 661916. best regards Peter
