i have recently purchased a 2 channel dash cam thinkware F770 but i am having trouble locating ignition switched live for the camera in the drivers foot well the car is a 2013 XF R sport sportbrake and all i can find in the foot well are permanent live circuits could anyone advise if there are any switched circuits in the fuse box

thanks in advance

lee nelson

Hi Lee,

I also have a sportbrake, I have my dash cam wires well hidden but just plugged into the power socket in the arm rest, it does go off when the car is turned off and comes on when I open the car.

Hope this helps,

Dom

If its the same as 2011 xf the live wiring shuts down when you lock the doors it took ages to convince the young lad from Halfords but believe me I'd does switch off

Hi Folks.

Just purchased and new 2023 IPace and requested in purchase was to have the Jaguar Dash Cam fully installed prior to taking delivery. Not installed when collected the car and after 4 weeks of different stories from the dealers i'm finally told that their Dashcam cannot be fitted to the new IPace, Really ????( be warned ) !!
