Hi all 👋

Having an issue with my 2009 xf s,

When ever I brake hard the infotainment will change the media source. Also occasionally when turning the volume will go up.

The steering wheel controls also got themselves muddled up and the source button was changing cd track.

I have disconnected the steering wheel controls believing it to be an issue with those, No change.

Does anybody have any idea where to look for this fault/experienced anything similar?

Thanks in advance

Hi Jaegar  I think that the 1st thing to do is check the battery out ??? If its not up to scratch

you get all sorts of weird problems ????

Thanks for your reply O.T.H, I did have an issue about 6 months back with the alternator, although I hadn't replaced the battery along with the alternator. I will get this on a tester. What baffles me is that it doesnt have any issues until iv been driving  for 15 minutes. Makes me think I have a break in a wire or the cd changer face plate may be failing. I cannot find a thing on this at all, I will post how the battery test went.

Cheers 👌🏻
