Boot lining

Hi, I own a 2017 XF, is it right that there is no cover or lining of any kind covering the ‘roof’ of my boot (the section where the rear seat release pulls are)...... I bought the car 2nd hand and I am curious To know if this section is meant to be covered?

 

if not, it’s pretty ugly to look at and Jaguar didn’t do a great job haha

yes your no different from other owner's, i've been thinking about fitting something to the metal but haven't got round to it yet.
