Haven’t had car long and I’m trying to engage cruise control on 2005 type S jaguar

Hi April, and welcome to the Club.

I found it quite easy, but I had used cruise control in a previous car.

First, you have to be travelling at a reasonable speed -- I only use cruise control on dual carriageways and motorways when you will be over 50 mph

When you have reached a reasonable speed -- 50 mph - press the SET button.

Braking and dropping the speed to a slower speed will automatically cancel.  You can the press RESUME when you are over 50 mph.

CANCEL  takes off cruise control.

Regards,

Peter.
