CTEK MSX 5 fitted in boot

Featured Replies

Can someone out there help me? Some years ago there was a series of posts about fitting a

CTEK MSX 5 battery level monitor snugly into the boot lining adjacent to the battery. I am hoping to fit one myself and would appreciate any information about where and how this was achieved. Thanks Geoff.

This thread should be helpful,

Simple, Geoff.

Just connect the CTEK to the battery terminals.  I leave mine in the right hand side of the boot so the I can read the battery condition. 10 minute job with a 5 minute rest!

I have an outside electrical point so I just reverse the car back to the point and plug it in to charge.

Regards,

Peter.

Thanks Jim that is the exact post I remember, but trying to locate it was another matter. Thanks again mate I'm much obliged. Best wishes, Geoff.

Thanks Peter I'm pretty sure I will be Ok with it now. Much obliged, best wishes, Geoff.
