Hello, my s-type listed above needs a new brake servo. Can anyone tell me if there is a part from a later model jaguar that fits the s-type?

Certain XF servo's superceeded the S-Type servo with a later number.

A quick search on this site may reveal the number in one of the posts. Seem to also recall David Manners had something on their website.

Replaced one a while ago and found corrosion on the valve which was letting air out from the vacuum side and was noticable by the noise emitted when applying the brake.
Could not repair it so was scrap. Fitted a later XF one which worked a treat.

The David Manners Group has a very good catalogue.

You just need to put in your  car's number.

I have used them a few times.

Thank you for the replies. My local independent has sourced and fitted part.

on another note, my front passenger seat will not rise with the switch. Can hear the motor turning but no movement. Any ideas on a fault/solution?
