After years of admiring from afar, finally bit the bullet and bought myself a jag. 3l XF 2013 51k miles. Looks stunning, bit of a step up from the bright teal Citroen cactus my wife picked 🙈

Hi Daniel, and welcome to the club.

You will enjoy your Jaguar.  I wanted one when I saw a friend in Sefton refurbishing a Mark 1 in 1963.  It took me 50 years to get one!

When I was still living up North I knew a Mike Marsden-- Any relation, though he would be about 85 now!

I am now exiled in the West Midlands but just 6 miles from where your car was made.

Yeah, they just ooze suave sophistication.

My grandad has an x-type. It could be a relation, he's the youngest of 5 at 75 years old il ask him next time I see him. Were from Liverpool us marsden's aswell.

Hi Dan,

I was born in Widnes, and my wife is from Liverpool.  My work took me from the town in 1967, but I still regard Widnes as my town and Liverpool as my City.  

I used to be a member of Liverpool Catholic Ramblers.
