Hello all,

To introduce myself, my name's  Krsto, I  thought it would be handy to have people around with the same taste in cars, maybe learn a thing or two about my car. Cheers!

Welcome to the club, Krsto.

I had an x type and thoroughly enjoyed it.  The three crooks who stole it didn't as they got caught and were given the opportunity to stay in a free hotel known as a prison for 8 years!

There is always something to learn about Jaguars --  they are very well equipped.

Regards,

Peter.

Thanks!! Sorry about your x-type being stolen. I just bought mine used, but very well minded. I bought the car from an nice elderly gentleman who took good care of it (I have every receipt for every job made on the car)  and more, car has only 88000 miles on the meter so it drives perfect. When I sat first time in it I instantly fel in love with it.

Hi Krsto,

When my car was stolen my wife [ a wonderful woman] said "we will change a disaster into an opportunity" and two weeks later I had my s type which has visited the Auld Country, including Drogheda where her grandparents came from,

Regards,

Peter,

PS. My grandparents came from Tullamore and Co Mayo.

Haha! There's nothing like a pint of nice Guiness 😁😁. I always go to Co. Mayo for my holidays, that part of the island and Connemara have that flavour how old Ireland used to be. I love driving that route.

Regards,

Krsto

Hi Krsto,

I had a night out many years ago with the man of the house in which I was staying.  Many bottles of Guinness and quite a  few glasses of a rather strong "whiskey".  I asked if it was real or did you make it yourself, and the man said "Tis only real here is if you do make it yourself.

My maternal Grandfather [Peter Coyne]  never used to drink, but apparently before he got married he was certainly one of the boys. Granny Coyne did not agree with the whiskey, even though she knew what Tullamore Dew was!

Regards,

Peter

P.S. And more power to his elbow!
