Hello all,

Im new to this site so need your help/advise.

Im going to view an X-type 08 plate jag on Saturday, its a diesel automatic, any advise on what I  should look out for?

Welcome to Jaguar Owners Club.

X type, nice car to drive, and comfortable 

Check for rust on sills.

Door latches / central locking  connection to key fob can have problems, mine did but was easily solved.

The later models more reliable in general.

Also I and other owners have had Turbo actuator problems,affecting acceleration seems common.but easy enough to remedy 

The car should be stable round corners. If it wobbles- needs radius arm on rear suspension
