Trouble running

Featured Replies

Hey everytime it rains my coil packs get wet & my car runs rough for a couple of days. This time it started to have no power, smelled like gas. I couldn't find a leak. Then I started it yesterday went around the block and this is what was happening under the hood. Plz help. I have no idea what to do. There is not a mixture in my coolant or oil.

Thanks, Nichole

Nothing showing on submission of what I am taking to be a video. Therefore cannot see what you are attempting to show us. Rain and S Type have caused problems with missing and rough running. I believe it filters off the channel around the bonnet and washes off the bulkhead. usually onto    Bank 1.

Not saying it is this because cannot see the important bit you are trying to show us.

Regards and Good Luck, John.

Water from the windscreen runoff gets between the glass and the cowl. Seal that up to stop the water. Check the cowl drain isn't blocked. Water onto the engine is never good. What engine is that? Looks like a diesel.

Lol it sounds like a diesel.  I have no idea though. I bought my jag at an impound auction. I love it & refuse to get rid of it but can't find anyone worth a !Removed! to work on it. So I'm learning and you guys are awesome at walking me through it. Thank you!! Xoxo

I think it is a diesel and the injectors need to be reseated since gas from the compression stroke is leaking past them.
