Hi all

I'm new to the forum, thanks in advance for any help given.

I have a 2004 S-Type 2.7D which had a coolant level sensor problem. I purchased a new expansion tank with sensor all seems to of fitted back great.

The problem is the bottom hose that connects to the expansion tank is constantly weeping lots of coolant, where the hose joins the tank.

On my car there appears to be a metal clip that resembles a paper clip that is trying to act as a clip to hold the hose onto the tank.

Frankly its looks very makeshift and not factory at all.

Would any of you kind people be able to upload a photo of your 2.7D lower hose clip in-situate  so I can compare mine. Would anyone know where to buy a real replacement.

Many thanks

Matt

HI Julie

Thank you very much for your quick response this indeed the part I needed.

Sadly Jaguar do not sell just the spring clip that I needed on the end of one of the hoses.

I purchased and fitted the entire unit as pictured above from MOSS yesterday and all hopefully now is ok

Thanks again very helpful.
