New Member and needs advice please

Hi All,

Thought I ought to join the club as wanted a Jaguar for sometime and was lucky enough to get one, a nice gunmetal X estate 2ltr diesel, in May 2017 with 50k on the clock, now has 124k. I add that I retired 2 years ago and have become a community driver in Halesworth,  taking those who can't drive can get to hospitals, doctors and other locations as required. Volunteers get mileage only in line with tax rules and thought I would only do a hundred or so each month, however demand outstrips supply and did over 5k3 just in the last year!

It is rewarding and helped a lot of people, especially during 'lock-down', to get out and more importantly get to talk to someone!

I would like to ask a favour, I have had to replace the two front door locks but now the tailgate glass is intermittently popping open. Usually when I unlock the car, or when I put on the ignition. Any ideas would be helpful. As I never have used the tailgate glass access is it possible to be 'programmed out' so stays locked and cannot be unlocked?
