A new one is £550 or you could search the breakers yards.

Thanks Jim, problem is JLR have none worldwide! Searching breakers but no luck so far.

Latest is I have one second hand perfect condition. Now the repairer says JLR specifically will not let them fit it!,,,long useless correspondence with JLR confirms they have no date for any remanufacture...be warned, they do not necessarily support us with parts for other than current models. When new spares run out they do not necessarily manufacture more of them. So my £40000 8 year old xk dynamic r might now be a pile of scrap.....

May not be possible if it’s an insurance job.

I know people who have had cars repaired before and when costs have been close to not economical to repair, they have used good used parts to keep cost down.

I never know any repair shop, contact a manuafacturer about what parts to use, and most repair shops dont use genuine parts, they will use pattern parts for a lot of repairs

very strange, I would be tempted to take it elsewher.
