what is the best type of car wax for metallic paint i have just had to have the bonnet repaired as some !Removed! decided to whack a dent in it probably didn't like the shape.

If its a bit of added protection your looking for , take a look at ceramic coatings , I've used them for years and you only need to do it every 6-12 months , adds a beautiful shine that lasts ages and prevent dirt from sticking so you don't need to wash it as much 👍

I agree with Craig - ceramic coating is the way forward!

I'm now running my second XF, had both coated, current one is really dark blue metallic (Loire Blue?), always looks great!
